Help out Kane.

As allot of you know I occasionally stop talking about myself for long enought to help out others, sometimes. Kane

This is one of those times. I found out from my friend from High School, Kim, that Kane was having a terrible time. I know that all over the world there are kids who are starving, dieing and suffering. We can not help them all, which brings me to Kane.

We can help him! Kane is a 20 month old little boy who, when first born, appeared to be a normal baby boy. Kane's mother and doctors soon realized that Kane was not hitting his milestones as other children his age were. In September 2010, Kane received his first surgery to correct his eyes. By November of that same year, Kane had lost all of his independent capabilities. He no longer was able to eat, sit, or even roll over. He was forced to have yet another surgery to place a feeding tube, and his mother has been told that a future surgery is necessary to protect his air way.

The doctors are unclear of how to diagnose Kane. What they do know is that due to his rapid loss of skills, he is considered as having a rare life threating illness, as well as a Neuromuscular Disorder.

I want to do everything I can to help out this little guy, because if it was my son or daughter, I hope you would all do the same.

Kane will soon need to travel to Boston, MA, which is one of the few places in the world that are trained to handle such matters of the brain. This visit brings hope to the family that the doctors there can shed some light on his diagnosis, as well as help his family plan his future, and to extend his time with us.
