I love being busy. It is part of what makes being me.... me.
In the past couple of weeks there has been so much to blog or vlog or SMOG about that I can say I passed overwhelmed about a week ago.
Man since my last post,
Eric has lost both his bottom front teeth, and graduated kindergarten and entered first grade. Ya they start the school in March here.
Eric and Satomi went to Okinawa for a vacation with Satomi's Mom, while I went to America on business.
During that time my Uncle Jay died, he was a tough guy to work for but the last time I saw him, last year he was pretty good to talk to. I did a network survey and analysis of a system I built 5 years ago. It was good to see that it stood the test of time but still it was in need of some love. Kevin I am getting on that documentation right after this.
I stayed at my sisters house, drank a couple of beers with my brother, blew some stuff up with Jay-Dog and got the old Izzo crew back together. It was cool. Oh ya and Corey if you read this tell Amy I thought she looked really slim, but she is still too tough for me!
Sorry if I didn't call or stop by while I was in town but don't hate me too much. I was really busy.
I went to Manila in the Philippine's for a international rugby 10's tournament. Manila is not my kinda place but matches we had were great! We won 3 out of 4 and only allowed 1 try the whole tournament!
Oh crap I almost forgot.... WORK!
We migrated 17,000 user accounts from old Sparc Solaris 2.6 single servers to clustered and server services running on i386 hardware and Solaris 10/11 with X4500 as our storage system. All new services, provisioning and hardware. Ya it was.....tough to say the least.
So with a lack of sleep and desperate need to catch up on some of my commitments I need to get back to .... thanks for reading and if I do not post the complete stories behind all of what has happened here.... email me and bug me.
