Shinkansen X3

I ride Shinkansen (the Bullet Train) about once every 2 or 3 months. Ussually when I have a party or something else I would like to do in Tokyo near Shinagawa or Tokyo station and I still want to get back to see Eric. Today I am coming back from Tokyo ridding it for the 3rd time in 2 days. Friday night I was about to leave when I noticed a critical looking problem I spoke to my boss and we scheduled a Emergency Maintenance starting at midnight. The maintenance went well or at least I thought so and I finished in just under the needed time. I was pretty happy. But like always I did not check my work so good and of course there were problems because of it. I ended up spending the rest of my night working out where I had made the mistake and hoping I could fix it. Eventually I spoke to some one who pointed out where my mistake was I corrected it and then finally at 10 am the next day I was finished. I was at the data center and it is close to Tokyo station so I hopped on Shinkansen. I got home ate lunch did some shopping, and dropped Eric off at my friend Masseys house, and crashed hard for about 3 hours. I woke up went and picked up Eric. We got home about 9 or 930 ate a little and then watched tv till 11. When we went to bed we both fell asleep immediately. About 1 am I was awakened by a sound I dread .... my phone and it was the second level support guys calling..... oohh nooo.... "hello" "Erin-san there is a problem with lion... " "no there isn’t" "Yes Erin-san it’s true..." I felt a tear of pain welling up in my eye. "Very well" I crawled to my pc and started to work again.... on the same server .... just a diffrent problem. I spent about another hour and a half trying to get the problem solved to no avail. Then a co-worker pointed out that it may be a hardware problem.... great I thought..... back to the data center. Sure enough it was a hardware problem.... I confirmed it and talked to my team mate and we decided nothing could be done that night and we would meet at the Datacenter in the morning. Ride #2 I woke up around 530 am and Satomi gave me a ride to Mishima to catch the train back to Tokyo. I got to the data center and immediately started attacking the problem .... like every thing I was too aggressive with it and had to step back rethink and then redo the steps to get the server working 2 or 3 times. I started at 8 and finished just after 12. RIDE #3 We got everything sorted and now for the third time in 2 days I am on Shinkansen speeding back to see Eric at my friends Christmas party with Santa. **** I made it just in time to see Eric sit down with Santa and get a small gift!
